I’ve just booked my flights to Colombia for this June. Now, there are a number of things that Colombia is famous for: Drugs Beautiful women Coffee Drugs Massacres  Kidnapping Natural disasters Drugs Civil War Did I mention drugs? Despite it’s bad reputation, I have been assured that Colombia is a wonderful country (it is no longer murder capital of the world!) The purpose of my visit will be to work in a hospital and learn more about the country and its culture. Hopefully, I will also be able to talk a lot more Spanish by the time I return. The picture above is of El Santuario de las Lajas, all I can say is “Wow.”
